Registration for the 2017-2018 School Year

Registration is located at Ray-Pec East Middle School, 17509 E. State Rt. 58, Raymore.
Students returning to the Ray-Pec school district (and incoming Kindergartners that attended Round Up) should plan to attend all district registration on August 2, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. OR August 8, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Bridle Ridge students completely new to the district and incoming Kindergartners that did NOT attend Kindergarten Round Up, should plan to register at Bridle Ridge Elementary on August 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
What documentation is needed for registration?
To register, you are required to bring your child's birth certificate, current immunization record and a June or July utility bill. Acceptable utility bills are: water, electric or gas.

Online Registration Is Open to Speed the Process
Complete forms online before registration on Aug. 2 and Aug. 8
Online registration is open through Aug. 8, and a parent in the household where the student primarily resides may complete the registration forms using the Parent Portal. You should have received an email recently about online registration.
Begin by choosing the 2017-2018 school year, and clicking on the Online Registration button. The forms may not work correctly or may be too small to view on some devices and phones. Note: Be sure to click on the SUBMIT button after you have marked all forms as complete.
If you did not receive an email about online registration, if you don't have a Parent Portal account, or if you have questions, please call 816-892-1333.
Representatives from PTA, Apple Bus Company Staff, Child Nutrition, and health services will be on hand.

Want a FAST PASS through Registration??
FAST PASS deadline Is TOMORROW
Wednesday, July 26, is the deadline to obtain a “FAST PASS” for registration.
To get your FAST PASS, submit residency proof by email and complete the online registration forms by July 26. The FAST PASS allows you to bypass the residency line at registration and proceed directly to the room designated for your child's school.

- Rec Park offers play equipment for toddlers through teenagers, soccer, baseball and football fields, a walking trail, shelter and public restrooms

- Families can take a tour, meet the staff and check out the renovations
August 23 - First Day of the 2017-2018 School Year
- Breakfast begins at 8:10 for students eating breakfast
- Doors open for all students to go straight to class at 8:15 a.m.
- (Students are considered tardy after 8:35 a.m.)
- 1st-5th grade students should be dropped off in the drop off lane - thank you for staying in your car to drop your child off to ensure staff and student safety and to speed speed arrival

Donate School Supplies to Help Students in Need
Community Bank is conducting its annual school supply drive through Aug. 11. Supplies may be dropped off at Community Bank of Raymore and Community Bank of Peculiar between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Watch for more information in the future about the distribution of supplies.

Board Approves the 2017-2018 Calendar
The School Board on Jan. 26 approved the calendar for the 2017-2018 school year. The first day of school will be Wednesday, Aug. 23, with Preview Day on Monday, Aug. 21. For winter break, students will be dismissed early on Dec. 22. Classes are not in session through Jan. 2. School resumes on Jan. 3, 2018.
Spring break is scheduled from March 26-30, 2018. There are two possible make-up days for inclement weather: Feb. 16 and 20. The last day of school is an early release on May 24. Any additional make-up days will be added to the end of the school year.

Meal Account Menus & Payments
Menus
School meal menus are available on the Child Nutrition website at www.rpchildnutrition.org as well as the “Web Menus” app by School Nutrition and Fitness available through itunes for Apple or Playstore for Android.
New Online Payment Processing
The Child Nutrition Department now uses the Ray-Pec Web Store to process meal account payments. Go to www.raypec.k12.mo.us and select “Online Bill Pay” at the top of the page to replenish funds in your student’s meal account.
Panther Pride Before and After School Care
**Bridle Ridge Panther Pride is expected to fill quickly and once capacity is reached, families will be added to a waiting list-complete and return your application to the Panther Pride office ASAP
