We hope you had a relaxing, enjoyable break with your family and friends. I have missed seeing all those familiar little faces! We are looking forward to getting back into the swing of things. There are many exciting learning experiences and activities for students to be a part of for the remainder of this school year! We also hope you are making plans to have your student participate in the Explore summer learning experience. Be on the lookout for more information to come.
- Please refrain from bringing pets to pick up students at the end of the day for student safety. Some students are very allergic and pets can be unpredictable.
- Please continue to pull all the way forward during afternoon dismissal. It is tempting to stop and quickly load your child but, it holds up the rest of the line. Also, remain in your car to allow for a quick, efficient dismissal.
- Please be mindful of your child's attendance. Students that consistently arrive late and/or leave early miss out on educational opportunities. The attendance goal for Springfield Public School students is 95%.
- Please take time to recognize an outstanding teacher or staff member by clicking the button at the bottom of the newsletter. Staff recognition is really appreciated!
