Life of C.S. Lewis
C.S. Lewis was born in November 29, 1898, belfast Ireland. His farther name is Albert J. Lewis and his mother name is Florence Augusta Hamilton Lewis. He has an old brother named Warren Hamilton Lewis, he was born two before him and died in1973. At the age of nine his mother died of cancer.
At age 17 C.S. Lewis enrolled into the British Army. In 1918 his close friend Moore was killed in battle. Then on the 15 of April in the Battle of Arras he was wounded. Then in 8 months and 1 year was discharged.
In 1931 was the year C.S. Lewis conversed from atheist to Christianity. While in Oxford he became the most influential Christian writers of the 20th century. Then became a memeber of Church of England.
At age at fifty-eight Lewis had married Joy Davidman. After four-years his wife died of bone cancer in 1960 and cared for her sons Douglas and David Gresham. On November 22, 1963 C.S. Lewis died in his home.
