Dear SFCS Parents & Friends,

We had an awesome time celebrating National Catholic Schools Week at St. Francis Catholic School last week. Thank you to all the families that donated items for each of our themed days and the charities that they supported. Your generosity was amazing!!! Since the weather did not cooperate Friday the students will be having the Bounce Houses for recess on Monday.

Re-registration packets were sent home with your youngest child on Friday. In case you didn't receive it a digital copy in embedded below. The Re-registration period will end at the end of the school day on Friday, February 28th. On Monday, March 2nd Open Enrollment will begin for families new to St. Francis Catholic School.

The Family School Association (FSA) is busy preparing for the Golf Tournament followed by the Casino Night Gala and Auction on Saturday, March 14th. Tickets are for sale now. Sponsorships are available and donations for the silent and live auctions are needed. Check out the FSA section below for more information regarding all of the above.

Have a great remainder to your weekend.

Congratulations to this year’s JPII NHS & NJHS Inductees

Recently 12 John Paul II Catholic School students were inducted into the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society and three students into the Junior National Honor Society.

The National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) are the nation's premier organizations established to recognize outstanding high school and middle school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS and NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

To become a member of NHS, a student must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement by maintaining a GPA of 4.0. A NJHS membership requires a minimum grade average of 93% and adds the core value of citizenship.

Membership in NHS does not end with induction. Students are expected to be role models for others, commit to community service, maintain their GPA, and provide Christian leadership in their school and community.

Congratulations to these JPII Golden Warriors: Ethan Prado, Ben Richardson, John Hughes, Teddy Oldham, Amanda Shaw, Caroline Gilmour, Alyssa Rembold, Aidan Tibbitt, Colin Halligan, Alana Couch, Abigail Quinty, Jonathan Field, Maura Clarke, Amber Christy, and Cailee Halligan.
