Congratulations to this year’s JPII NHS & NJHS Inductees
Recently 12 John Paul II Catholic School students were inducted into the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society and three students into the Junior National Honor Society.
The National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) are the nation's premier organizations established to recognize outstanding high school and middle school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS and NJHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
To become a member of NHS, a student must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement by maintaining a GPA of 4.0. A NJHS membership requires a minimum grade average of 93% and adds the core value of citizenship.
Membership in NHS does not end with induction. Students are expected to be role models for others, commit to community service, maintain their GPA, and provide Christian leadership in their school and community.
Congratulations to these JPII Golden Warriors: Ethan Prado, Ben Richardson, John Hughes, Teddy Oldham, Amanda Shaw, Caroline Gilmour, Alyssa Rembold, Aidan Tibbitt, Colin Halligan, Alana Couch, Abigail Quinty, Jonathan Field, Maura Clarke, Amber Christy, and Cailee Halligan.
