Meet the Principal


My name is Joanna Brooks, and I am coming to Windsor Forest High School from Southwest Middle School, where I was an assistant principal for 3 years. I am so excited that I have already seen the familiar faces of former SWMS students around The Castle. Prior to becoming an administrator, I taught Health and Physical Education at Mercer Middle School, West Chatham Middle School, and Rice Creek School.


I am a graduate of H. V. Jenkins High School, where I was a member of the soccer, football, and cross-country teams. I played collegiate soccer at Georgia College and State University, where I earned both my bachelor's and specialist degrees.


My husband, Trey, and I have 4 wonderful children, James (11), Hunter (8), Piper (6), and Marin (5). We are all excited to be a part of the Windsor Forest family! I look forward to meeting and getting to know each of you!

If you are interested in participating in athletics during your time as a WFHS Knight, please contact any of the following coaches. No experience is required to come out for conditioning and/or tryouts! All you need is a current physical on file with the school.

When: Band Camp for Returning and Prospective Band members will be held July 19 , 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, and 28 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and July 29 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.


Who: All students interested in Auxillary (Flag Team, Dance Team, Chatelaines, and Color Guard) or Instrumental roles should attend.


What to bring:
