A message from the principal

The month of December is a very exciting time at Northdale. We will be transitioning to Trimester 2 starting December 6th. We will have holiday break from December 23rd thru January 2nd. There are plenty of opportunities to listen to our students in various musical concerts. Volunteers are needed at NMS and we are having a Basic Needs Drive starting December 6th. Thanks to all that give to these efforts. Happy Holidays!

Basic Needs/Hygiene Drive – December 6-14

Northdale will be holding a Basic Needs/Hygiene Drive December 6-14. Items collected will be distributed to Northdale families in need. We are looking for the following items:

Toilet paper

Toothpaste

Deodorant (men’s and women’s scents)

shampoo

conditioner

shampoo & condition for textured hair

detergent

feminine hygiene products

hand soup

body wash

Gift cards are also welcome

Donations can be placed on the table outside of the main office. Thank you for supporting our families at Northdale.

Volunteer Opportunities at NMS

Thank you to our outstanding volunteers that continue to support our staff and students at Northdale. You have given over 600 hours to NMS this school year. It is never too late to sign up as a volunteer. To become a volunteer you must complete a volunteer application and a criminal history release form.

Taco Food Lab - December 6-7
Mrs. Hoeben has had to reschedule her taco food lab from today and tomorrow to next Tuesday and Wednesday due to unforeseen circumstances. We are looking for volunteers to be an extra set of hands and eyes while students cook. Sign Up

Sell Ducks - December 7-8
Student council is looking for volunteers to sell ducks in the cafeteria during lunch periods December 6-8. We are still looking for volunteers for December 7 and one more volunteer on December 8th. Sign Up

Santa's Workshop - December 20 & 21
We are still looking for volunteers for our Santa's Workshop on December 20 & 21. December 21st is looking good, but we could use a little more help on December 20. This is one of my favorite events of the year and we are actually offering it both in the winter and the spring this year. Elementary students are paired up with a 8th grade WEB student to make winter crafts and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate. Sign Up

Ski Club Chaperones
Chaperones are still needed for Community Education's Ski Club. You can sign up for one date or multiple dates and chaperones receive a free ski lift ticket. Sign Up

Bengal Apparel and Holiday Bears on Sale!

Student Council will be hosting the Bengal Den December 12-16. They will be selling bengal apparel during all lunches. The prices will range from $10.00 t-shirts to $50.00 sweatshirts.
