Message from the Principal
Hello Parent and Guardians of the Pawsome Pumas,
Peanut Butter and Jelly
Batman and Robin
We Are Better Together!!!
On behalf of the staff at Prairie Elementary School, we would like to say, Welcome Back! This week has been full of excitement. Our scholars have exceeded my expectations when they walked into our doors. As you are aware, Prairie has shifted to a team teaching model of serving all of our scholars. This change took place as we looked to enhance our ability to create an engaging and inclusive community that fosters a growth mindset as stated in our Theory of Action (better known as the Eye Of The Puma). We have noticed that our scholars have embraced diversity, have had higher levels of student engagement, stronger relationships, and a strong sense of belonging. This has all taken place during the first week of school. Thank you for trusting us to take the next step of bringing the vision of inclusion to reality at Prairie Elementary. This would not be possible without your support. Our growth as a school is possible because we are Better Together.
Please join us for the 1st PTA meeting of the 18-19 school year on Tuesday, September 11th, at 6:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity to meet our current Board members and learn more about the great things happening at Prairie.
Next Culver's Night: Monday, October 1st 5-8 p.m.
