Message from the Principal ~ "Coffee Connection"
Dear RMS families,
Next Friday, on February 25th, between 6:45 and 7:30am, we will be offering free coffee and pastries, hand delivered to our parents in the car drop-off line in the morning. For those parents whose students walk or ride the bus, we also welcome you to come into our library for coffee and pastries and a quick “hello” to our school staff.
This is our way of saying “thank you” to parents for all of your support of Ridgeline and our staff this year. We also will hand out cards with reminders about upcoming events, such as the March 25th Coffee with the Principal, Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences on March 30, 31, and April 1, and RMS Family Night on April 26! We appreciate your support of your student and our school! Thank you for all you do as parents!
Some reminders for parents and students:
Please be safe driving through the RMS parking lot. Please stay in the drop-off or pick up line and avoid driving around cars ahead of you. It creates a safety hazard as students get out of or into the parents’ vehicles.
Please ensure your student is bringing their chromebook and charger to school every day. We are low on extra chromebooks, and we want students to build the habit of having their own chromebook in class every day.
Students who attend Ridgeline and parents who visit the school are still required to wear masks or face coverings until the mandate is lifted. Please encourage your student to follow this rule and all school rules.
The end of Term 3 is March 25, 2022. Students are working hard on maintaining As and Bs or working to get grades up. Students who have As and Bs are now eligible to attend enrichment and extension activities during STORM Time, such as Chess Club, Guitar Jam Session with Mr. Curry, STEM Challenges, Strategy Games and Puzzles, Yearbook, GSA Club, and Peer Mentoring. Encourage your student to get all As and Bs so they can try one of the enrichment options during STORM TIme!
Have a restful and enjoyable President’s Day weekend. We will see you back at school on Tuesday, February 22. 2022!
Sincerely,
Craig Curry
Principal
