Important Upcoming Dates!!!
PLEASE READ...
Hello families,
Can you believe we are in the last quarter of the 2014/2015 school year! We appreciate all of your hard work, your dedication, and your patience as we paved the way in this eSchool endeavor.
That being said, this time of year is always the busiest, and we want to let you know that we are here to help and support you with anything you need.
Here are some important upcoming dates and events that you'll need to know about as the end of the year approaches...
EOC 2nd Grade Testing Cancelled
Superintendent Browning has decided that End-of-Course Exams will not be required for the 2014-2015 school year. However, in accordance with expectation, each teacher must administer a standards-based assessment. Mr. Walker and Mrs. Thomson have developed a culminating, end of the year project that meets these expectations and has been approved by administration.
The week of May 11th...
Since that is already going to be a busy week, within your Canvas courses for the week of May 11th, we will not be posting any assignments.
Your "End of the Year Passport Checklist" and "Culminating End of the Year Project" will be posted for that week for those of you who are on pace.
For everyone else, that week would be a great time to catch up on your course work, and turn in any assignments that you have not completed. The school year ends on June 3rd and that will be the absolute last day to turn in any assignments.

Your culminating activity will also be the main component of that week.

The steps will be laid out in your "End of the Year Passport Checklist" which will be posted on May 11th.
End of the Year Progress Calls
I repeat... JUNE 3RD IS THE ABSOLUTE LAST DAY TO TURN IN ASSIGNMENTS!
Wrapping it up...
Final Grades will not be given until all assignments are complete, your culminating project is submitted, a progress call is completed, and all materials (I.e. iPad, books, etc.) have been returned to the eSchool Offices.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please let us know.
Thank you,
Mr. Walker and Mrs. Thomson
