Tech it to the limit

Students have technology at their fingertips. Although easily accessible, technology is seldom intuitive. It's often difficult to navigate. For students to reach their full potential in this day-and-age, the TPACK framework outlines the best way to reach students' needs as the teacher is a liaison between knowledge and student. To use this framework effectively, content, pedagogy, and technology work together to help students grasp a particular subject. Using this framework, the apps and websites highlighted in this issue support the needs of a wide-range of learning styles, across content areas. "Individual teachers, grade-level, school-specific factors, demographics, culture, and other factors ensure that every situation is unique, and no single combination of content, technology, and pedagogy will apply for every teacher, every course, or every view of teaching."

Technology + Pedagogy + Content Knowledge = TPACK
