February 2018

Dear PVES Families,

Happy February! Thanks to all families who came out and joined us recently for Parent Conference Night, our Scholastic Book Fair, Art Show and Interactive Game Night for Families! We hope you found your time here to be worthwhile and want you to know that we greatly appreciate your partnership!

We want to extend a big thank you to our PTO and all families who contributed in any way to our staff meal on Parent Conference night. The soups and salads and desserts were amazing! We so appreciate the homemade touch and care that went into it all for us. It's little things like this that make being part of our school community so special. Thank you!

I'm hopeful that our school routine will be a bit less choppy this month as January was filled with delays and broken up weekly schedules. While we've all managed and certainly shown resiliency as we pushed through it, I'm not sure we've fully hit our stride since returning from winter break and hope to do so this month!

Mrs. Hammill

Our PTO has a spirit night at Chic fil A on Wednesday, February 28th! PTO gets a portion of the sales from 5:00-7:00 and we get all the money made at the game table! PLEASE NOTE - There was an accidental misprint in the PVES Calendar that was sent home- FEBRUARY 8th is NOT a Chic fil A Spirit Night.

We are in need of volunteers to work the game table and help supervise in the play room from 4:45-7pm that evening. If you are able to work all or part of that evening we would greatly appreciate it. Please contact Pete Laver at or Sara Hammill at if you can help us out!
