That Wow Teaching Moment!
We all have those moments that we live for as educators. You know what I am talking about. That moment in time where a student understood a concept, began to read, solved the math problem that had previously been a struggle, had a successful behavior day, sang out loud during the musical, helped a friend, etc. That time where you leave the school and think, "This is why I teach!" Think about what it takes for that student to be successful. What steps along the way led up to that moment? Interventions? Encouragement? A step by step plan of action? Take a second to watch the video clip below that was taken today of one of our very own GP students that will mark a pivotal moment in time for not only this student, but his parents, and teachers. How can we as GP teachers take this successful moment of the day and apply it to our teaching tomorrow?

She is here to help us refine our skills to observe classroom instruction and to improve our ability to ask reflective questions . Please don't panic when you see us in your classrooms. We value her input and coaching to help us be better instructional leaders.
- Feedback from other campuses that are having to replace smartboard bulbs indicate that the bulbs are very expensive to replace. So that we can extend the life of our smartboard bulbs, please help by turning them off when you are not using them (especially during conference times) and at the end of the day.
