Our Indicators of Success
Dual Enrollment
We are pleased to report that more of our seniors are taking advantage of dual enrollment opportunities at Del Tech!
We started dual enrollment as part of our Race to the Top initiative in 2012-13 with a total of 140 students participating. We ended the 2017-18 school year with 457 students participating.
We are proud of the many opportunities we provide to our students.
Summer Orginal Credit
We have seen a tremendous interest and increase in students taking summer original courses. 144 enrollments in 2013 to 452 in 2018.
Once again, these opportunities for our students provide them with the flexibility to look at other options that enhance their senior year.
Co-op Employment
80% of the students eligible for co-op worked in 2017-2018. 75% worked in 2016-17.

Growth of Our Students
Looking at our 2018 Juniors, we have seen great growth from their fall 2015 PSAT scores to their Spring 2018 SAT scores.
PSAT Fall 2015 798
PSAT Spring 2017 857
PSAT Fall 2017 868
SAT Spring 2018 906
Growth is what is most important, considering that our students come to us from 20 Public, 12 Charter, and many Non-Public middle schools in New Castle County bringing with them varying knowledge of skills and content.
