The Manning Weekly Update
Friday October 1, 2021
Manning Community,
A few clarifications as we head into a beautiful weekend:
1.) We are not taking the Healthy Kids Colorado Survey at Manning. This 100 question survey is an optional survey that some schools opt into each year. I did not opt Manning into this survey due to the importance of keeping our instructional time sacred.
2.) We haven't had a positive Covid case at Manning for over two weeks at this point! The last positive Covid case we had at Manning was the very beginning of the week of 9/13. This is good news! Continue to self-screen your child/children at home and eer on the side of caution. If your child is not feeling well, please keep them at home until they feel better. Also, we have multiple hand sanitizing bottles around the school, one in each classroom and throughout our hallways. Please remind your students to wash their hands throuroughly, use hand sanitizer when needed, and keep their masks over their nose and mouth.
3.) We are excited to host our first choral and instrumental music concerts here at Manning on October 13th and 14th (more info below as you click on the fall concerts tab). We will not be live streaming this in-person event, but their will be either an audio or video recording available once mastered.
4.) It is fall break next week. Just a reminder that students attend school next week, M-W, and are on fall break from 10/7-10/10, returning to school on Monday, 10/11.
I hope you have a fun filled and relaxing weekend!
Better Together,
Christian Ramaker
