The LAST DAY to drop an AP class without incurring the first obligation ($42.00) is Friday, November 11th. Please note after Monday, November 14th the fee for the exam is subject to increase.
BRIGHT FUTURES INSTRUCTIONS
Attention Seniors,
Bright Futures Instructions are located on the Guidance website. Please complete this application by June 30, 2023. It is highly recommended that you complete this application even if you plan on attending an Out-of-state college/university.
Attention Seniors
Do you need help with college applications, scholarships, FAFSA, etc. TRIO Educational Opportunity Centers visits WBHS on Wednesdays from 12:15-2pm. If you are interested, please email your school counselor to sign up.

College and Career Fair
Our College and Career Fair is rescheduled for Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the South Florida Fairgrounds from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. Students, families, and staff members are invited to join us. We are excited to welcome the following:

Apprenticeship programs
US Armed Forces
FAFSA help sessions
ACT NCR will be held on Nov 1, 2, and 3 !
The ACT NCR will be offered to 11th and 12th grade students who have not met their Algebra 1 EOC and/or FSA ELA graduation requirement. The test is 3 days (1 section per day) and will be held on November 1st (English section), November 2nd (Math section) and November 3rd (Reading section) at 7:30am. This is a great opportunity for those specific 11th and 12th grade students to try to earn a concordant score and meet their testing requirements. These specific students do not need to sign up. Testing locations will be released closer to test day.
Track Update
Mandatory conditioning for track will start on Monday, November 14th and packets must be completed on Aktivate before participating. Email monte.chapman@palmbeachschools.org with any questions, comments, or concerns.
Boy's Basketball Tryouts are Oct 31 - Nov 2.
9th Grade / 10th Grade Try-Outs will be from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on the Outdoor Basketball Courts.
11th Grade / 12th Grade Try-Outs will be from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. in the gymnasium.

Novice Gabriella Zarubinsky placed 2nd
Ashley Sorato won Best P.O. AND placed 3rd
Dylan Gaynor placed 6th and Simone Mikulinsky won Best P.O.

The Best Buddies Club Halloween Party
Their annual Halloween Party in Ms. Rademacker's room. There were pumpkins, pizzas, mummies, and more!
Best Buddies promotes inclusion and fosters friendships so that all West Boca students feel welcomed and loved.

Ms. Santoro - Nominated Ms. Barlow for helping out when I had an emergency and had to leave my class unexpectedly.
Dr. Sawyer - Nominated by Chaela Monesterio for walking a student directly back to apologize to her for his inappropriate behavior. The student has been well-behaved every since!
