End of the Year Drop Off/Material Pick up Schedule
Material Pick Up/Drop Off will be on June 8th and June 9th to pick up personal belongings. This will be a time to turn in any school property (iPads, chargers, library books, class novels, textbooks etc). Please see map below for station locations, your time slot and last name letter to ensure for social distancing. Student materials will be packaged up outside of their classroom door (see map below). Students will drop off textbooks and class novels in a designated location in front of classroom. Students/parents will not be permitted to enter the classroom.
Students and parents must practice the following:
- Face Covering Must Be Worn – cloth mask/bandana/paper mask/etc.
- Practice Physical Distancing – stay at least 6 feet apart
- Only one parent/guardian may attend any campus event
- Only siblings of the family that attend the school may attend a campus event with the parent/guardian
- Student(s)/parent/guardian should proceed immediately to area to complete task. There is no congregating, chatting, playing with friends, or lengthy conversations with staff members
M.V. Staff will practice the following:

Disinfectant Spray Available – spray should be stationed at various points for staff to use to wipe
down surfaces

Hand Washing – staff should wash hands frequently with water and soap for at least 20 seconds

Face Shields – available for staff desiring this additional level of protection

If your child is having problems with technology, we have created a student tech support link on the district website for tech resources. Students can fill out the form, and we have a team to help troubleshoot and assist students throughout the day…………..Yay!
Please make sure you include the asset tag for the student ipad located on the white bar code on the back of the ipad (you might have to remove case to see this bar code). MV Online Until the Rest of School Year
Mountain View Elementary School will be closed effective March 19, 2020. Although the office will be closed, we will still be available for questions, comments, or concerns between 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. In addition, you will continue to receive online instruction for the remainder of the school year. Please continue to work with your child's teacher. Each teacher will deliver instruction to best fit the needs of their students and ensure for flexibility. Harvey Mudd Free Homework Hotline
The Harvey Mudd College Homework Hotline is a free over-the-phone math and science tutoring service for students in grades 4 through 12. They are open four nights per week, Monday through Thursday, from 3 to 9 p.m. PST. Tutors are all students at Harvey Mudd College, one of the top-ranked STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) schools in the nation, and they’re all selected for their technical expertise AND their superior communication skills. They get extra training to make sure they give you the best possible service!
