Guidelines for Student Illness

Colds and virus-type infections are easily passed from one student to another. For the protection of your child and others, we recommend you keep your child at home if they have symptoms of:

Fever of 100 degrees or higher

Runny nose with yellow or green drainage

Earaches that have not been treated by a doctor

Coughs that are constant

Vomiting or upset stomach

Diarrhea

If a child has been absent due to illness, it is important they not return to school until they are:

Fever free for 24 hours

No vomiting or diarrhea for 24 hours
