Third Grade Market Day at Rowe Lane
Product for Market Day
- Students will need to create a small product or develop a service to sell to other grade levels
- Each student needs to make enough products to make a profit after initial material costs; usually about 30+ items
- We are asking students to be creative and make something with the supplies that he/she already has available
- We will have some supplies available at school such as various paper products, glue, staples, etc.
- We request if purchasing supplies not to spend more than $10.00
- Products will be made at home, not at school
- NO EDIBLE/FOOD PRODUCTS ARE ALLOWED
- Be Your Own Boss: Business Plan (Business Plan Papers will be sent home next week.)
- The student will need to create a plan and get parent and teacher approval before beginning the manufacturing process.
- Parents, please review the entire plan including materials to make sure the product will be possible to create at your home. If not, the student will need to change their product.
- Be Your Own Boss: Business Plan with parent approval and signature is due Wednesday, November 15th.

- Pencil/pen holders made from recycled soup style cans

Science Fair
United We Stand
The fourth grade students at Rowe Lane will be honoring our veterans and service members by presenting the program United We Stand. We would like to officially invite all former and current service member to attend the presentation that will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2023. There will be two show times you could attend. 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. You are welcome to attend one or both times. So that we can plan reserved seating accordingly we ask that you please register to attend via this link.
In conjunction with the program there will be a slide show. We would like pictures of current and/or former veterans. If you would like to share photos please fill out this form.
