CMTHS National Technical Honor Society First Official Team and Fundraiser

This was the first time that the National Technical Honor Society at Central Montco has had an official team. The officer team this year is Cameron Johnson, President, Rochelle Bellman, Secretary, and Alitres Leon-Alvarez, Treasurer. For their first event, they planned a virtual toy drive for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. We met with them and they discussed how they would implement the fundraiser. They set up the page to donate and created other support material to make the event a success. For the first time fundraiser for the honor society, they raised over $700. On behalf of our officer team, I would like to thank everyone that helped out with this event.

Ms. Erika DiIenno - Cosmetology Instructor

Ms. DiIenno, our entry-level cosmetology teacher, is constantly thinking of creative ways to get her students engaged and participating in their cosmetology program online. She has worked to adapt, learn, and grow in these difficult times to make sure that her students are learning as much as they can and having fun in the process. Ms. DiIenno is not afraid to get on the video to demonstrate her excellent cosmetology skills and knowledge while also making her students laugh and smile. She is reflective in her teaching; always looking at how she can improve and what she can do differently so students are learning. She is dedicated and tireless in her pursuit of student success and genuinely cares about each and every one of the students in her program. Thank you Ms. DiIenno for all that you do here at CMTHS, you're simply the best!
