Sunset Ranch students are all invited to participate in a morning Walking Club supervised by our amazing teacher, Mrs. Jill Hartman.

Beginning Date: Monday, August 22, 2022

Days/Times: Monday-Friday @8:05-8:20 (canceled if it rains)

Location: Basketball blacktop behind the Multipurpose Room/Cafeteria

Important Student Expectations:

• Students do not need to sign up- they may show up on days they’d like to participate

• Students will arrive no sooner than 8:05 am

• Students will enter the blacktop through the gate opening near the parking lot to the rear of the cafeteria

• Students will place their backpacks on a “PE Paw”

• Students will walk around the blacktop walking track (marked with paw prints)

• Students will stop walking at 8:20, get their backpacks, and will proceed directly to class

When parking to pick up or drop off your student, please be mindful of neighborhood driveways and the necessary flow of traffic in our school parking lot. Please do not block crosswalks, so we may ensure our students can cross safely.

Unattended vehicles should be in a designated parking spot or parked safely on the street outside of campus.

Those who purchase pictures online will receive a package. Students who did not purchase will receive a proof sheet, then will be able to order online after picture day.

Do you need to remove some dirt and make kids happy at the same time?

Ms. Smith will be hosting a car wash with her 6th grade students on Saturday, September 17th from 9:00-11:00am to raise money for our school garden. It is free of charge but we will be taking donations.

Welcome back to school for the 2022-23 school year. During the upcoming year, MEALS WILL BE FREE FOR ALL STUDENTS!

Although meals are free, we still need families to complete the Federal Meal Application to direct your State and Federal tax dollars to RUSD. This funding is used to provide counselors, intervention and tutoring programs, mental health and behavioral supports, full day TK and Kindergarten programs, and more.
