Principal's Message
Central School Community, at the November 15th Board Meeting, I was approved to be the principal of Central Elementary School. I am so ecstatic to be continuing my work with you that we started back on July 1. Throughout these last four and a half months, I have become so much more familiar with all of you and with all of your children. I truly believe that our school is so special and I look forward to working together in the future. Please see this letter which I am sending to the community today as well. Please know, my door continues to remain open to you, to hear your concerns, address your questions, and build our relationships. Your children's education, safety, and comfort is my top priority.
Wishing all a warm and celebratory Thanksgiving with their loved ones.
Mr. Monafis

Attendance ππββοΈ
As we move into the second marking period, please be mindful of attendance. Parents will be alerted each marking period if their child has 4 or more unexcused absences during that marking period. Excessive absences may prompt a corrective action plan. Please call the main office when your child is out to help us in maintaining accurate records of your child's attendance.
Transportation π
Please remember to check the transportation status sheet on the website to know if there are any buses running late. In the event of a change that takes place close to arrival or dismissal, I will send out a notification.

Managing Holiday Stress βοΈ
The winter months bring a "flurry" of activities! Sometimes the sheer amount of things to do can lead to some stressful moments. As parents, you add a great deal to your plates during the holiday months and sometimes, it's important to ensure that your needs are also being met as you make beautiful memories with your children. Meet Ms. Lipari π
Ms. Lipari has been teaching for 12 years. Second grade was her favorite grade growing up so she considers it very special to now teach the same grade. Her favorite part is helping her students to find a love of learning and supporting them in both their academic and social emotional goals. Her childhood superhero was her second grade teacher. One of her passions is writing and she loves inspiring students to write from the heart. She wants all her students to know that there is an incredible power in believing in themselves. She hopes that their voice within them will always remind them that "they can" and "they will."
