BUILDING SPOTLIGHT: LIFE SKILLS LAB

Philadelphia E&T is excited to share with families our new life skills lab. This room is a multi-purpose room. The room was designed to support students with cognitive and/or physical disabilities to safely practice life skills. The Life Skills Lab replicates various environments, allowing students to gain experience managing independently in these settings as part of their transition programming. This life skills lab will also be a space for our culinary club, it offers a full kitchen for students to gain exposure to culinary arts, in conjunction with our community partners. As we begin to get comfortable with our new school building, we plan to incorporate the use of the life skills lab into our Cooperative Education Program.
