Christmas

Why Do We Celebrate Christmas?
We celebrate Christmas because it is the day Jesus was born. Jesus is special because he was meant to save us from sin. Before he was born people had been waiting for a savior.
Christmas is always a very festive time of year because we look forward to opening presents on Christmas morning. But we have to remember to keep Christ in Christmas. We also have to remember that he is the most important part.
The Story of Christmas
Jesus was born in Bethlehem in a stable because there was no room in the inn for Joseph and Mary to stay. Joseph and Mary did not live in Bethlehem but they had to go there to be counted as citizens of the Roman empire. When they got there since there was no place for them to stay the stayed in a stable where animals were living. When Jesus was born he had to sleep in a manger because there were no beds.
Then there was an angel that appeared to the shepherds who were watching their flocks and they were very scared but the angel told them not to be afraid, and that a savior was born and he would bring happiness to all people. And the angel said the baby would be sleeping in a manger wrapped in swaddling clothes. So they went to see him and they found him just as the angel had said they would, and they were filled with great joy.
