Stellar Lake Day
September 23rd, 2022!
At Stellar, we want to create a space where families can be connected. To us, there is no better way to connect than through food, music, nature, games and swimming! That is why we are doing a Stellar Family Picnic/Lake Day! This will give your student the chance to hang out with their new friends in a new environment!
Also, it is a great way to meet other Stellar parents who know exactly what you are going through! Maybe you are a new parent looking for an experienced homeschool family to give you some tips. Or, if you are an experienced homeschool parent, you could meet our new families and foster the Stellar Culture we all know and love. Or, maybe you are just looking for a new friend for the school year. In any case, it is going to be a great time! Wear your Stellar shirt to show your pride! (not required)
BOYF! Bring Your Own Food! Bring a blanket or some camping chairs and some snacks and I'm sure you will enjoy yourself! Parents are required to supervise their own students in and out of the water. We will provide music, some games, and microscopes for the kids to investigate things that they find. Non-Student family members are of course welcome to come as well. Maybe you know someone who is interested in Stellar and would love to talk about what part-time homeschool really looks like!
Whiskeytown has provided parking passes for us so that this event is free! In order to sign up, you need to register here so that we know how many passes to have available. The passes will be available for pick up in the office on 9/22/22.
If you would like more information or if you have any questions please contact Ms. Enloe at eenloe@rsdnmp.org.

Community Creek Cleanup
Join us on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. as we work to clean up and prune the Nur Pon Open Space at 2502 Henderson Road, Redding.
Be sure to bring a water bottle and wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and sunscreen. Come out to help restore the shade and tranquility of this open space! You can make a substantial contribution to restoring this scenic space during a single morning of fun labor involving hundreds of your fellow community members! Remember, this is a neighborhood, and parking may be tight. Please be courteous when you park; our neighbors will appreciate it!
Gloves, safety goggles, buckets, and garden tools will be made available for use. If you have your own, please bring them.
Kids must be 10 years of age or older to participate—no exceptions. Volunteers between the ages of 10 and 18 are REQUIRED to bring a waiver that has been signed by a parent or guardian prior to the event day.
The event is sponsored by the Redding Parks & Trails Foundation.
