Show of Unity For Miss Fee

#Outstanding Congratulations to senior Helene Becker who was the recipient of the Wayne-Finger Lakes Superintendent Award for the Gananda Central School District. | #Driven Gananda's 7th grade students presented a check to Sebastian Maroundit from Building Minds In South Sudan in the amount of $1001! The funds raised will go toward providing students an education in South Sudan. Gananda seventh graders recently learned about the story of the lost boys of South Sudan and read "A Long Walk To Water" by Linda Sue Park. At the end of the unit, students participated in a fundraiser to support education in South Sudan. Special should out to Kierra for raising the most money in her class! | #Driven Congratulations to Jocelyn Roos for her All-League honors in swimming. Jocelyn has been selected to the 1st Team All-League team. Kudos also go out to Kyleigh Brooks and Emma Wallace for earning Honorable Mention. |

3 Types of ADHD:
Inattentive type ADHD — without the hyperactivity. People with ADHD of the inattentive type have trouble paying attention to details, are easily distracted, often have trouble organizing or finishing tasks and often forget routine chores
ADHD with hyperactivity. A neuropsychiatric disorder that makes it difficult to pay attention, control impulsivity (taking action before fully thinking things through) or manage excitable behavior (the person is squirming/fidgeting or “hyperactive”).
Combined. inattentive and hyperactive-impulsive symptoms are present
A diagnosis of ADHD can still apply even if a child doesn’t have hyperactive or impulsive behaviors
If you feel your child has ADHD they should be evaluated by a trained clinician.
