Mask Wearing
As it stands now, 58.3% of Furnace Brook Middle School's students and staff, as one whole group, are vaccinated. Staff vaccination rate is at 90%.
We do require that students wear masks appropriately, covering both their mouths and noses when inside a classroom. Students are allowed to take maks breaks, right outside of the classroom, at any time, and classes go on both snack and mask breaks frequently. There are opportunities for students to take a break from the mask.
