PBIS Tier 2/3 Getting Started

Preparing for Tier 2/3 Professional Learning

We look forward to seeing you on February 19th & 23rd. I wanted to send you a quick outline of the things you should expect the day of and give you some instructions to help you prepare. Both days will be focused on content and learning of how to build a Tier 2/3 system with focus on two interventions within your schools in order to respond to students needs.

There is also time set aside for your school team to work collaboratively through Action Planning with one another and to partner with other grade level school teams in order to learn together. In order to make this most efficient and for your team to get the best results it is recommended that you bring the following items listed below.

If available, please bring your teams:

  • Current PBIS Action Plan
  • Evaluation data (BAT, SET or BOQ)

All of the resources for this professional learning can be found at the PBIS Tier 2 Companion site. Feel free to look through the materials while it is still being completed.

Additionally, we will be using Today's Meet as a backchannel chat throughout our time together. Feel free to join the conversation now. Follow this link, Let's Talk, and simply type in your name and add to the discussion. I am interested to hear one thing you hope to learn from this training.

I am very excited to work with you and believe that your team will find the PBIS Tier 2/3 Getting Started professional learning beneficial to the work you do with students and families.

See you February 19th!
