CCTC Monthly Newsletter June 2021

About Us

The vision of Caroline Career and Technology Education is to develop students who are R.E.A.D.Y. for College, Career and/or Military.

Message from Principal Handte

I just want to start by thanking each and every one of you involved in CCTC in any way for all of your PATIENCE, FLEXIBILITY, GRACE & KINDNESS throughout this unprecedented school year!

All involved showed determination and persevered, in the name of student success!

To the parents/guardians of our amazing students...THANK YOU!

To our students...THANK YOU!

To our support staff...THANK YOU!

To our instructional staff...THANK YOU!

To our district level leadership...THANK YOU!

As the 20-21 School Year comes to an end, please stay strong and work hard to the end! Pay special attention to the Important Dates section of the newsletter. The plan for the 21-22 School Year is a return to the building for full days, five days a week. Students enrolled in Career Technical Education (CTE) Classes will be required to attend school in person, which will best prepare our students to be READY for College, Career, and/or the Military! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! We continue to be in this together!

Updated COVID, Mask Guidance

Following the latest guidance provided by the state, students will no longer be required to wear face coverings while outside on school property if they are physically distanced. Face coverings may still be worn based on individual choice, and it is expected everyone will be kind with regard to other people’s choices. Students and staff are still required to wear face coverings while inside school buildings.

In addition, updated guidelines for schools have been provided:

  • COVID-19 Symptoms: Any students or staff with fever of 100.4 or higher, sore throat, cough, difficulty breathing, diarrhea or vomiting, new onset of severe headache (especially with fever), or new loss of taste or smell they should not report to school and follow up with their health care provider.

  • Quarantining: Individuals who have been exposed to COVID-19 and are not fully vaccinated, are awaiting a test result, have tested positive, or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should stay home from school until released from their health care provider or the health department.
