Teacher Spotlight - Ana Cortez

In my classroom, I use Prodigy as a reward if the students are done with their work. I also use Prodigy on Fridays which are our Free Tech Day, and I create assignments for the students, so I can make sure they are grasping the concept they just learned. My kids are "LOVING" prodigy, and as a teacher wanting to engage them in learning, this was a perfect tool.

Grammarly is a free app extension. Think of it as spell check (with grammar) for the entire internet. Wherever you're typing while in the Chrome browser this little extension will check your spelling and grammar. For spelling errors, a list of potential words will appear, just like spelling check. However, when a grammatical error occurs, Grammarly will give you a brief explanation about the mistake and suggestions on how to fix it.
