Badwater Basin

Death Valley is a commodious, unique, national park. It is very beautiful, with many areas to explore like Badwater Basin. Badwater Basin is over 282 feet, which is 85 meters, below sea level, yet still has very few water near it. This makes Badwater Basin very unique. Another way Death Valley is unique, is because of how big it is. Death Valley itself is over 3.5 million acres, making it one of the largest national parks, and one of the deepest national parks in the world!

How Death Valley Got It's Name

Death Valley got its name for a reason. It got it’s name because there were some pioneers in this area. One died, and the rest had to escape the commodious land. They eventually got saved by some of the people with them, and while escaping, they said; “Good Bye, Death Valley.” In honor of their friend.

Location Of Death Valley

Where is death valley located? Well, this mass of land named Death Valley is located in California. And it is also a tiny bit in Nevada. It is over 3.5 million acres, and is big enough to home thousands of animals. It may look small on the map, but in reality, it is huge. Death Valley National Park is the green area in between California and Nevada.

Dangerous creatures

Death Valley holds some dangerous creatures though, and you won’t want to mess around with them. Make sure to look out for Black Widows, Scorpions, and Rattlesnakes. Those animals are poisonous, and if they bite, the bite may be fatal.

Thank you for viewing my page! I hope you learned a lot about Death Valley! Thanks again! Here is a myth I made!

Once upon a time, there was a monster and a dog. The dog was always happy, while the monster was sad and ugly. One day, the luxurious dog was walking through Death Valley with his friends Rattlesnake, Black Widow, and Scorpion. “I wonder what kind of things we will see today!” Exclaimed Dog. “I do not know Dog, but it will be fun walking through Death Valley!” Black Widow said. The monster saw the dog and his friends, and got really jealous. “Grr!!!” The monster growled. “He always becomes friends with the coolest people, and I don’t have any friends!” Dog, Rattlesnake, Black Widow, and Scorpion heard him, and asked the monster if he wanted to be their friend. “Hello, monster!” Said the coterie. “Do you want to be our friend?” The monster was so happy, he began to laugh. Dog did not want to be his friend, because he thought monster was too ugly. Dog said; “No monster, we really do not wish to be your friend, for you are not fancy enough.” This made the monster mad. Dog giggled and ran away. The coterie stayed. “That is okay, monster. We still wish to be your friend!” They said. The monster was so happy he began to stomp. Eventually, the ground cracked and fell. The area named Badwater Basin was now 282 feet below sea level! The monster cried because he thought that he went overboard and that his friends did not like him anymore, but Black Widow and Scorpion walked all the way down to where the monster sat, and became very good friends with him. On the other hand, luxurious Dog was left all alone because of how mean he was to monster, and that made him a mean bully, while the monster and his friends lived happily ever after. The End.
