Monday Musings
Thoughts from your Head Teacher ...
Just Chillin!
Sunday feels so different when the Monday is a day at home too! Bank Holiday Mondays are such a treat - an extra day to rest and allow ourselves to some time to do other things. I hope you have all done the same! A short week but a busy one - so read on!
Bikeability - Wednesday and Thursday this week - Fireflies only
All Fireflies need their bikes with them on Wednesday - they are welcome to bring them earlier in the week if need be. The bikes can stay here over night on Wednesday - they will be locked in the hall. They also need a crash helmet. They do not need to be in uniform for either of these days - but please ensure they are wearing suitable clothes for cycling in and trainers.
Enrichment Day - Friday 6th May - 1950's themed Day
Premier Sport will be with us on Friday to teach us all some Rock and Roll dancing. To compliment this we will be having a 1950's themed day. An easy dress up - so please support your child to take part. We look forward to showing you some of our dancing at 3pm on Friday.
Excellence in Early Years Conference
Kristie and Hollie had a great day in Lincoln on Friday finding all about Early Years from a very wise man called Alistair Bryce-Clegg. I am looking forward to hearing all about their new ideas and the exciting things they learnt about. It is great for teachers to have days like this - especially when they are so worth while. They inspire and ignite the teaching flame!
NO CHOIR THIS WEEK
I am sorry but there will be no choir this week. Save those voices - back next week!
