Almost Spring Break...
We are now a few SHORT days away from Spring Break. Once again, we have a VERY BUSY week, so please make sure to read through the following update carefully.
SCHEDULE FOR WEEK OF MARCH 21st
Monday, March 21st
- 7th Grade Band will rehearse at 7:25 AM
- ALL 8th graders have lessons today!!!
- 7th graders have lessons and US GRAND FINALE PERFORMANCE today
Tuesday, March 22nd
- 8th Grade Band will rehearse at 7:25 AM
- 7th graders have lessons and US GRAND FINALE PERFORMANCE today
Wednesday, March 23rd
- 7th Grade Band will rehearse at 7:25 AM
- ALL 6th graders have lessons and RHAPSODY IN BLUE PERFORMANCE today
- Jazz Band will rehearse from 3-4 PM
Thursday, March 24th
- 6th Grade Band will rehearse at 7:25 AM
- 6th graders perform at 5th Grade Transitions today - COME TO SCHOOL IN UNIFORM!
Friday, March 25th
- Spring Break!!! No School!!!
8th Grade Lessons for Monday, March 21
9:00 AM - All brass
9:30 AM - All percussion
10:00 AM - Beginning flute/trumpet
7th Grade: International Music Tour
Speaking of, please make sure to review the International Music Tour final information above! Parents are WELCOMED and ENCOURAGED to attend our International Tour finale on April 12th! We'd love to have you see what we've been working on!!!
Please remember that students should be practicing their excerpts each week with a metronome - these performance assessments do contribute to each students' grade. Students who miss a lesson, without consulting me prior to or the day of, will receive a 0 for their performance assessment. If a student misses a lesson, they are responsible for learning the piece for their next lesson!
PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT THIS WEEK:
