Standards This Week:
S7L2. Students will describe the structure and function of cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems.
b. Relate cell structures (cell membrane, nucleus, cytoplasm, chloroplasts, mitochondria) to basic cell functions.

Cell Organelles
Students will learn the different parts of cells and their functions.
Cell Analogy Project
Students will complete an in-class project comparing a cell and its parts to something they are already familiar with such as a school or hospital.
PLAN AHEAD!
Please be sure you are reviewing 15 minutes daily. The class material is becoming more difficult. Daily review will keep you from having to cram for assessments.

Upcoming Events and Happenings
Technology Fundraiser - Order Forms and Money Due FRIDAY
- Students all received a packet on October 31st.
- Through this fundraiser, students will be selling tumbler cups, soup mixes, dip mixes, sweets, and more.
- These items will make excellent holiday gifts.
- Items will arrive before our December break.
- All order forms with money must be turned in by November 15th.
- Funds will be used to purchase educational technology items for our school.
