CHEMISTRY 'MAGIC SHOW' -- BIOLOGY DEMOS

The NC A&T State University Chemistry and Biology Clubs will provide presentations and demos for youth. Hands-on activities will increase understanding of science and technology. Youth will work alongside college students and make take-home projects!

Rev. Dr. Marion A. Franks, Pastor of Cedar Grove, is an associate professor of Chemistry at NC A&T State University.

Dr. Franks and his NCA&T science students are excited to bring this program to the youth of Davie County.

Is it going to rain tomorrow? How do meteorologists predict the weather? What tech tools help them do their job?

Listen as Charles Ewing, member of the Fox8 Weather Team, shares info about the science of meteorology, technology used in weather forecasting, and his work at one of our local news stations!

February is Black History Month

STEM Day is part of Black History celebrations during the month of February at Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Join us on Sunday, February 21, 2016 for our 11:00am Worship Service, which will feature a youth production in honor of Black History Month.
