Chotrul Duchen
Sunday, March 16th at the Center
All are welcome!
Chotrul Duchen, the Day of Miracles, is one of the four major Buddhist holidays commemorating the deeds of Buddha Shakyamuni. It occurs on the full moon (the fifteenth day) of the first Tibetan month. The first fifteen days of Losar (New Year) celebrate the fifteen days on which Buddha Shakyamuni displayed a different miracle to increase the merit and devotion of future disciples. On Chotrul Duchen the effects of positive or negative actions are multiplied ten million times.
