It's that time of year!

We are seeking nominations for the 2024 Red Clay Teacher of the Year. Being selected as a Teacher of the Year is one of the highest honors the district bestows on Red Clay teachers.

The nomination window opens on Friday, January 20, 2023 and closes on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

As we move into the winter months, it's important to remember that no technology devices should be left in cars overnight.

Batteries drain rapidly in freezing temperatures and condensation can cause permanent damage to the battery and LCD screen. If you forget to bring your student's Chromebook into your home, the best thing to do is not use it immediately. Bring it inside and gradually let the Chromebook warm to room temperature before charging and turning on the device.

Many of you have reached out looking for ways you can support Richey and our students. We would love to have donations for our PAWS Cart. Students visit the cart once per marking period and use the PAWS they've earned for Practicing Safe Behavior, Acting Responsibly, Working Cooperatively, and Showing Respect to select items of their choice. We put together an Amazon Wish List. If you choose to donate, the items will be shipped directly to Richey Elementary School. As always, thank you for your support!

Please come out on February 28th from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm. We will provide dinner at no cost. Activities include literacy games, prizes, and a free book! This is always a great time.

We do not celebrate individual birthdays with food. Please do not send in cakes, cupcakes, candy, etc. This also goes for store-bought items. If you would like to send in a small gift (Pencil, Sticker, eraser, etc) for the student to give out that could be accommodated. Thank you.

Registration is now open for Stanton Newport Little League.

Snacks will be available on days that we have pizza. These snacks are not free. Below are directions on how to put money in your child's account is below. Snacks range from 75 cents to a dollar.
