Welcome!
From the District Administrator's Office
Today is a very special in the Flambeau School District. Today we are coming together and joining forces to battle a terrible disease, cancer. For the ninth consecutive year, today is the culmination of our annual Cancer Benefit.
This is truly a coordinated effort by our entire school community. We have everything from door decoration competitions, silent actions to dress up days. These activities not only bring us together and build unity; they raise funds to help support families dealing with cancer.
The highlight of the evening is the double-header basketball games that will take place tonight between Flambeau and Birchwood boys and girls. Birchwood has joined in the effort as well. A penny war is taking place between the two high schools. The coaches of the winning school will be sporting pink hair as they coach their respective teams.
I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone for his or her contributions and participation in this very special occasion. Events like this are an excellent example of how working together we can truly make a difference.

From the Elementary Principal's Office
What a great week filled with activities for our Ninth Annual Cancer Benefit! Walking through classrooms this week and seeing how excited and dedicated our elementary students have been is amazing! Please join us tonight for the double header against Birchwood, a yummy chili dinner, silent auction, pie auction and much more. I can’t wait to see which coach will be dying their hair pink for the game!

My Aunt Sherry battled breast cancer for several years with the most amazing inner spirit. She lost her battle four years ago. She was and continues to be my hero.
The quote below was one of her favorites and believe me, she lived by it.

From The Athletic Director's Office
Winter is finally upon us and the cold is here. I would like to remind everyone that bussing can get hectic if an unforeseen problem arises. If a bus is late we will send out a PowerSchool announcement but the adjusted times are approximate and can change if we are able to get another bus up and going right away or fix the problem sooner, so please be ready to go and we will be around as soon as we can.
Wrestling and basketball are past the mid season points and in wrestling's case the conference tournament is only a couple weeks away. If at all possible attend when you can the kids are working hard and I think we will be able to crown some conference champs by season's end.
Go Falcons!
