Sunday School Week #7

Please watch the Sunday School video below for your child's age group.

Please make sure your family is registered for Sunday School by clicking the bar below.

Please make sure you are registered, even if you are not attending in person.

Harvest Home Sunday

November 15th

We are asking that everyone bring canned goods and non-perishables to Church/Sunday School. These items will be donated to a local food bank. If you don't attend in person but want to help, the foyer door will be open Saturday the 14th from 10-4pm and during the church service. Thanks in advance!

Thanksgiving:

11/15/2020

In lieu of a sit down dinner, we will be delivering pies and a thanksgiving craft to our registered Sunday School families!

Christmas Caroling

Christmas Caroling: 12/13/2020 and 12/20/2020

We will be doubling the caroling days this year to spread a little extra cheer!

Families will drive in their separate vehicles, and we will spread out outside of the homes of the families we are singing for. We will not be entering the homes and will be wearing masks.

Week #7 Sunday School

Middle/High School:

LIVING IT OUT

Did Jesus really say that when we’re detached from him, we can’t produce anything? Really Jesus? Yep, He said it and He really meant it. Think about it: a branch separated from the rest of the plant is still a branch… it’s just not a very effective branch. It’s not doing what branches are ultimately supposed to do. And what are branches ultimately supposed to do? They’re supposed to grow, blossom, and produce fruit. A branch disconnected from the vine is still a branch, but it’s kinda useless.

So Jesus is making a pretty bold statement. He’s saying that when we are disconnected from him we aren’t growing, blooming, or producing fruit. we’re kinda useless. Ouch.

Praying and reading the Bible are obvious ways we can stay connected to Jesus, so I just gave you those two ideas as freebies! What are two or three other ways you can stay connected to Jesus, the Vine, all the time?
