The eyewitnesses saw a royal court official go to Jesus. He requested for Jesus to go with him to his house to heal his son. The man showed great faith in requesting this. Jesus saw this faith and granted his request. The eyewitnesses saw the man leave quickly for his home. The eyewitnesses saw that the man’s son was indeed healed.
Background Information on the Miracle
In this miracle story Jesus performed a miracle on a young boy. The miracle occurred in Cana. The boy had an incurable disease. The young boy’s father was a royal official. His father showed faith in asking for Jesus to perform this miracle. The boy was healed at the exact time the healing words left the mouth of Jesus. After seeing this miracle, the official and his whole household came to believe. Seeing this miracle, the official and his whole household came to believe. Jesus is the Messiah.
