Kindergarten Transition Planning

Continue planning for school specific Kindergarten Transition activities. Gather and upload any invitations, flyers, and agendas related to Kindergarten transition. Include evidence of collaboration between school and preschool programs. Also include any handouts or presentation materials.

Evidence of Support For Struggling Students

Continue to save evidence of support/interventions for students that are struggling. This includes data team analysis, interventions, tutors'/interventionists' schedule/case load, etc.

Parent Engagement Activities

Your schools will have Parent Engagement activities on an ongoing basis. Collect evidence from each event. Examples include invitations, sign-in sheets, agendas, and presentation materials. If your school would like any help with a Parent Engagement activity, let me know and I will help in any way I can.

Parent Communication

In order to demonstrate that your school communicates with parents, continue to collect Parent Contact Logs, newsletters, and other forms of parent communication and upload. Be sure to demonstrate multiple methods of communication (English and Spanish, letters, website, etc.)

Purchase Orders

Reminder that purchase orders are maintained by your school's bookkeeper. If you do not have copies of the purchase orders to upload, simply state the location of your purchase orders ("Purchase orders are kept with the bookkeeper in the front office").

Assessment Data

Continue to gather and upload assessment data. This would include tools used by teachers, calendar of assessments, samples, and student growth data. Be sure to remove names from data when applicable.

Professional Development

As staff members participate in Professional Development activities, collect and upload artifacts such as schedules, contracts (if a school-based PD with contracted consultant), agendas, etc.
