Principal's Message

Dear Eagles,

What can I say that hasn't already been said? It has been a year to remember. But, we did it! I'm so proud of this TLES community. It takes a village and I'm proud of the perseverance and team effort we all showed to survive and thrive this year!

On behalf of the TLES staff, I want to wish all our students whether returning to TLES, moving on to middle school, or moving to another school all the best. We are proud of you and want to remind you that once an eagle always an eagle so be sure to come back to the nest to visit!

Have a wonderful summer break. Be sure to keep reading!!

Material Return Update

All students with outstanding materials, including online students, students who are not returning next school year, and our 5th graders need to please return any textbooks and school-issued electronic devices and/or keyboards. If you have not already done so, please bring these materials on Monday, June 7, Tuesday, June 8, or Wednesday, June 9, between 8:30 AM-3PM.

If you ordered a school yearbook but were unable to pick it up earlier this week, please contact our PTA to schedule a pick up by emailing them at

A book table will be available for our ONLINE 3rd and 4th grade students on Monday, June 7th and Tuesday June 8th from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.

We have a wide variety of gently used books that students may choose one/two to start their summer reading.

ALL K-2 students received a TLES Summer Reading book bag.

All 3-4 grade in person students went on a "book walk" this week where they were able to choose a book of their choice and also received a copy of the Stop the Summer Slide and community opportunity page.

So this is a chance for our online 3rd and 4th graders to choose a book. :)

"Make sure to prioritize and get some much needed rest and relaxation over the summer. Self-care is so important: read a book, take a walk, listen to music just make sure to take care of yourself doing something you enjoy most!"
