Orientation
This fall all of our sixth grade language arts classes visited the media center to learn about our resources. Students learned how to use the card catalog as they searched for both print and ebooks. They also learned that databases are a great place to begin all research projects!
Readers!
During the months of September, October and November Thompson students and faculty borrowed 2,259 print books and 157 eBooks from our school library. The media center also borrowed numerous books for classrooms from the Middletown Township Public Library.
Makerspace
Thompson students may use our makerspace each day before school or during lunch. So far this year students have engaged in ...

Volunteers
The Media Center is looking for a few parent volunteers! Some of the tasks that need assistance include:
- Shelving Books
- "Adopting" a bookcase. You would keep it in order and create related displays.
- Repairing damaged books
- Organizing makerspace materials
- Creating a makerspace activity (a craft, a Mindstorms activity,a Little Bits activity or a coding activity) to share.
