Notes From Ms. Hunter
I MISS YOU AND I MISS TEACHING!
I hope everyone is staying home and staying healthy!
It's a good idea to move and exercise EVERY DAY! It's good for your body and good for your mind! Students, you can start with the stretching exercises we do in music. Then, you can work your way into the gym exercises. Parents should be stretching and exercising too!
Get out of the house and go for a walk! This is one of the best things you can do right now.
Music Challenge of the Week:
Practice singing your favorite song, and then perform it for someone. You can perform for your family at home, or perhaps your parents can help you make a phone call and sing the song to another family member of friend that doesn't live with you. Have fun!
If you would like to email me a video of your song, my email is ghunter@cvs.k12.mi.us
The activities listed below are for March 30th-April 3rd. If you would like extra music activities, all students can engage in the following :
*Start your morning with stretching! Exercise is good for your body and mind!
*Have a singing/karaoke night!
*Practice drawing notes and rests.
*Turn on music and sing and/or dance.
*Play Charades
*Read about a composer and write a short summary to share with your family.
RECORDER INFORMATION
*Fourth and Fifth grade students should NOT attempt to practice recorder while anyone at your house is working from home!
*For the third grade students that ordered recorders, you WILL get them. However, I am not certain when that will be.
If you have any questions, please email me. I will be checking my email often!
Musically Yours,
Ms. Hunter
