Theme Analysis
Reading the story Of Mice and Men gave me many concepts of the theme of this book. But the themes are pain and hardship of striving for the American dream, and the dreams and hopes of acheiveing this goal.
George
George, unlike Lennie , George is an independent man who can do all for himself. he befriended Lennie and is always stuck helping out Lennie in a long run. he is a short, loving and friendly guy.
Candy
Candy is an old aging man with only one hand to spare. He's an old handy man and only has one hand worries that his boss will fire him and kick him outta the ranch.
Lennie
Lennie Small is a contradiction to his last name. He is a husky and big man who has a mind of a child and like to... kill. He is dependent on his best friend George and isn't one to think.
