AHS Band Excels at Glenpool

Congratulations to the High School Band. They competed this past Saturday in Glenpool and got 3rd place Drum Major, 2nd place Guard, 2nd place Percussion, and 1st place in our class! The Warriors beat several other 3A, and 4A bands there. Overall, out of 20 bands that went to the contest, the Adair Warriors came in 3rd place! Congratulations to our amazing high school band.

FFA News

APS Students Selected to the District Honor Choir

Two Adair Public Schools Vocal Music Students were selected for a spot in the Northeastern Choral Directors’ Association (NCDA) District Honor Choir. Hundreds of students from thirty (30) area schools auditioned for positions in the choir. Adair 7th grader Sara Kirk earned a spot in the Alto 2 section, and Junior Gavin Gwartney earned a spot in the Tenor 2 section. In addition, Malachi McDaniel was selected to be an alternate for the Bass 1 section. All three of these students will also audition for the All-State Chorus.

Senior Parents Fill out the FAFSA

The 2022-23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) launched at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. New and returning students who plan to attend college between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023, should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible. To assist students and parents in the process, the Department’s Federal Student Aid (FSA) office has been sharing tips @FAFSA, including “7 Things You Need Before Filling Out the FAFSA Form” and “8 Steps to Completing the FAFSA Form.”
