WEEK OF MAY 27, 2019
Hi Cannon Parents!
We are in the countdown to summer vacation, when we return to school on Tuesday, 5/28, with only 2.5 days of school left in the school year! We hope to see all of our 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade families at the remaining grade level end of the year recognition ceremonies this week!
Also, don't forget that we will have early dismissal on Thursday, 5/30, the last day of school. All students are dismissed at 11:45 am on this date. At 11:35, all K-4 students & staff will line the hallways for our annual tradition of bidding farewell to our 5th grade Cubs, as they walk the halls of Cannon for the last time! This "clap-out" is a wonderful tradition that always brings lots of smiles, high fives, and tears! 5th grade parents are welcome to join us for this event in the hallways at 11:30!
Thank you SO much for all of your support this year! We love our Cannon families & the wonderful partnership we share with all of you to ensure that your student(s) have the very best educational experience possible at Cannon Elementary: A GCISD STEM School!
I hope that everyone enjoys an AMAZING summer with your family & friends!! We wish you a happy, healthy, and safe summer break! See you in August!

CHHS GRADUATE WALK @ CANNON!
Our Cubs had the privilege of congratulating former Cannon Cubs who are graduating from CHHS this year, as they returned to Cannon for their final "clap-out" of their K-12 academic careers! Each of these graduates attended Cannon at some point in their elementary career, so it was very special to have them return to inspire our current Cannon Cubs!
