Digital Citizenship Tip of the Week!
Digital Citizenship Tip of the Week
Plagiarism:
Is it okay to copy something you find on the Internet and present it as your own work? NO. That is plagiarism. Don't think it will be okay if you do it just once - you will get caught and be subject to discipline.
The website plagiarism.org describes this well - plagiarism is an act of fraud. It involves both stealing someone else's work and lying about it afterward. All of the following are considered acts of plagiarism:
turning in someone else's work as your own
copying words or ideas from someone else without giving credit
failing to put a quote in quotation marks
giving incorrect information about the source of a quotation
changing words but copying the sentence structure of a source without giving credit
copying so many words or ideas from a source that it makes up the majority of your work, whether you give credit or not
Chromebook Tip of the Week!
Do not leave the Chromebook on blankets, beds, sofas, or pillows while on and in use. This may cause the Chromebook to overheat which can damage the device.
Visit the Wilson Student Help Corner Website where you can find video tutorials answering your frequently asked questions about apps used in your classrooms. We also have tutorials in Armenian and Spanish.

Morning Call!
It’s Never Wrong To Do the Right Thing
It’s Never Wrong
to do the right thing
And every morning
we’re gonna sing.
With love, don’t you know,
You’re gonna reap just what you sow*.
It’s Never Wrong
to do the right thing
*You reap what you sow is a proverb that says future consequences are inevitably shaped by
present actions.
