EVENTS
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week - Monday, May 8th through Friday, May 12th
The time is here to spread some cheer! This national, annual event honors our education staff for their dedication and hard work that inspires our children to grow each and every day. We are continuing this year’s theme of celebrating the 30th (pearl) anniversary of Southwood Glen! Click HERE to preview the flier detailing the daily events throughout the week.
While Trapper Keepers might not actually be on anyone’s list in 2023, they were certainly a favorite back in 1992. To check out what is actually on each teacher’s wish list, click HERE to view our Linktree of wishlists. Wishlists will continue to be added as they are received, so check back often. Be sure to check out our general wishlist too that supports other building staff and items our PTA uses for events and celebrations as well.
For Thursday, we are encouraging students to create a thank-you page for their teachers. One paper copy will be sent home with each student this week. Need an additional copy? Click HERE!
Volunteer opportunities for Friday’s luncheon can be found in A to Z Connect. We are in need of volunteers on hand for set-up, serving, and clean-up. Another way to volunteer is by providing some sweet treats!
Movie Night - Friday, May 19th, 6:30-9:00pm
Save the date and find your comfiest pajamas! Admission is FREE - please pre-register at A to Z for planning purposes. Click HERE to view all the details!
