Message from Dr. Ramirez
Hello CRHS Learning Community,
What are you doing to stay out of the Covid-19 funk! Like you, I miss the normal routines and activities I did pre-Covid. This was a DYI weekend for me. We purchased an outdoor wood pellet pizza oven (by Ooni) recently after seeing it in action as a friend's home a while back. The hickory favored pizza was simply the best we have ever had. The problem was that I didn't have a safe place to use it (burns from the top at 900). Using leftover wood from a recent remodel, and an end table and tile (10 cents each) I picked up at Hillsborough Habit Restore for $20, and wheels from Home Deport, I made this fun table. I needed to do something to escape the Covid-19 funk! I am glad I did, although my back is a little sore. I hope you have been able to do something fun to keep your mind off of work and the pandemic.
On to school business. As you know, students will need to make a decision by November 23 regarding plans for our second semester. We are holding a series of meetings this week, including a time to chat with me during daily Coffee Klatches, from 8:30 to 9:00 am. Bring a cup of Joe and any questions or thoughts you might have (link in the calendar below).
We have created a live document to post questions. We are updating this document daily with answers. Additionally, information can be found on our school website.
If families did not receive the Plan B Signup email click this link to complete the survey. This link can also be found on our district's website.
I hope you all have a safe and productive week.
Sincerely,
Dr. Ramirez

CRHS PTSO Seeking Teacher Appreciation Donations!
Calling all Cedar Ridge Families!
The Cedar Ridge High School PTSO would like to show our appreciation this holiday season to our teachers by offering each of them a gift card with options from a local Hillsborough business, as well as a few other stores. They have all been working so hard educating our kids through these challenging times. It’s a win-win as we honor our teachers and support our community.
We need your help! We are asking for donations in order to treat our teachers. Go to our Cedar Ridge High School PTSO page and click the DONATE via PAYPAL button. Easy as 1, 2, 3! Any donation is greatly appreciated.
Athletics Update: Season Begins this Week!
*Please note: Cedar Ridge is not allowing spectators at this time. Masks must be worn the entire time during inside and outside competition. We are also required to wear masks at all times, even while running in XC. Social distancing protocol must be followed at all times.
